Dr. Siika is a Medical & Informatics Consultant
Dr. Siika is part of our medical team of consultants. He advises study design for evaluation, impact and performance measurement. Dr. Siika has conducted clinical trials on nutrition, HIV/AIDS and its co-morbidities, such as diabetes, TB, and cryptococcal meningitis. He has also evaluated barriers to care and socio-cultural contextual factors of healthcare in refugee camps of Kenya.
A physician by training, he has played a leading role in study design and implementation for global trials funded by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR), and the National Institutes of Health (NIH)-Fogarty, NIH-National Institutes of Mental Health, and United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
Dr. Siika Highly Trained
In addition to serving as medical director at GHLiaisons, he is medical director and Head of the Department of Medicine School of Medicine at Moi University’s College of Health Sciences in Kenya. Dr. Siika completed his fellowship and obtained a Master’s of Science in Clinical Research from the Indiana University. He has completed undergraduate and graduate coursework in medicine and surgery at the University of Nairobi.
